It had taken him by some rather scenic routes, and he had time to think, about a lot of things. He wasn't sure what pulled his mind back to Katniss, but maybe it was the thoughts of people he knew, people with the same faces and same names and different memories.

Or maybe it was the woods and the farms. Either way, it had him reaching up and sending a message, remembering a girl he had met days before and had to let her and her cat walk away. ]}
